The processing is based on a balancing of interests, whereby Svenska Mäklargruppen has a legitimate interest in being able to complete and administer the brokerage of the property. Your Personal Data will be processed for this purpose during the purchase process and will subsequently be stored for ten years from the date on which the purchase agreement was signed, so that the Estate Agency can defend, establish and exercise legal claims in the event of a dispute.

Your rights under the GDPR from 25 May 2018
1) Right to object to processing
If the processing of your Personal Data is based on a balancing of interests and you consider that your privacy interests outweigh the Estate Agency’s legitimate interest in processing your Personal Data, you have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to the processing by contacting Svenska Mäklargruppen. If you object to the processing, Svenska Mäklargruppen must demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for continuing to process the Personal Data.
You always have the right to opt out of the processing of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes. In such cases, you should not object to the processing of the data but simply inform the relevant estate agency office that you no longer wish to receive direct marketing communications.
2) Right to erasure
Under certain circumstances, such as where you have withdrawn previously given consent and there is no other lawful basis for continuing to process your Personal Data, you have the right to request the erasure of your Personal Data.
3) Right to restriction of processing
Under certain circumstances, you have the right to restrict the processing of your Personal Data so that it is limited to the storage of the Personal Data, for example while Svenska Mäklargruppen investigates whether you have the right to erasure.
