Svenska Mäklargruppen was established in 1998 and today our real estate agency group consists of eight offices. We have seen strong interest from our clients in working with us when buying and selling property in Spain. Through our office in Marbella on Spain’s southern coast, Svenska Mäklargruppen offers a complete and proactive estate agency service in the Spanish property market.
The commitment and expertise of an estate agent can be crucial to achieving a successful transaction. For many people, buying or selling a property is one of the largest financial decisions they will ever make, and there are no shortcuts when it comes to getting it right. “In 2008, I was offered the opportunity to move to Spain as part of an international assignment with Swedbank’s office in Alicante. I had already built a 20-year career with the bank in Sweden, and this gave me the chance to fulfil a long-held dream of working abroad.
I immediately took to life in Spain. Living in a different culture from the one you grew up in is both fascinating and rewarding. The weather along Spain’s southern coast is also among the best in Europe, with an exceptionally mild climate, which is of course a major advantage.
In 2010, I was given the opportunity to establish the first Swedish estate agency network on the Costa del Sol, based in Marbella. One thing led to another, and today I am the owner of the Marbella office and lead Svenska Mäklargruppen’s operations in Spain. I look forward to guiding you through your property purchase on the Costa del Sol and sharing my experience with you.”
